The VIP Room
Since writing module two I have added more names to my list of important people to include in my inquiry...
Creative arts educators, primary school teachers, practitioners, education professors, doctors, psychologists, methodologists, business managers and important foundations in the UK - these people and organisations will bring more depth to my inquiry. As my list began to grow I realised I was writing down a lot of male names, so I endeavoured to find more females who were somehow connected to the creative arts in education and my inquiry topic.
Here is my map entitled THE VOICES 👀
As I was searching the internet I found a very cool lady called Doctor Pooky Knightsmith who focuses on educating people about mental health, she is also an author and advisor. I began watching all of her videos which were very enlightening and you can tell she is very passionate about mental health and well-being. I was super excited when she also had videos on the importance of creativity for children's wellness. As part of my inquiry I look into the benefits of creative subjects for primary years and how it is important for children to have access to the creative arts.

Side note: After watching some of her other videos she has helped me to find ways to cope with my anxiety better and get back into my positive mindset. Thank you Pooky! :)
